"Peter Paulsen Quintet" by Peter Paulsen Quintet (Instrumental Artist from Pennsylvania)

The brilliant group, Peter Paulsen Quintet, releases a superb collection of instrumental Jazz music on their latest album, "Goes Without Saying." The songs on this album not only have a free flowing form, they also have a smooth vibe with some splendid Jazz styles. This tight knit group has great precision and offers creative originality within their music. The song, "Fee Fi Fo Fum," has a smooth rhythm while the piano gracefully and deftly glides across the keys with a rich melodic tonality. You will like the Avant Garde style of the song, "You Said You'd Call," as the cello takes on a somber and soulful melody. "Compensation," has all the right moves as the horns take the melody while the soft drum brushes and piano complement this wonderful song. If you are looking for the not so typical Jazz compositions, then the terrific album, "Goes Without Saying" is just the album you need to hear as they mix it up with modern touches and Avant Garde modes.
